So Mason is 10 months old now. Time goes by so quickly. It saddens me some that he is growing up so fast, but I'm also excited about the times to come.
He is now crawling all over the place. He is getting faster daily and venturing out further into the house. He definitely has a bit of separation anxiety when Mom, Dad, or Oma leave the room. He wants to be in the same room with your full and undivided attention, but then again who doesn't want that. He's pulling up to a standing position and getting braver everyday. I'm not ready for him to start walking yet but I don't think I need to worry about it anytime soon; I give it till his birthday or after.
I think I need to get that book by Dr. James Dobson titled "The Strong Willed Child". I think my sister-in-law has it. Apparently this family breeds determined kiddos. He does have a temper issue. Ryan and I are dealing with it as it comes. We've had to get after him on several occasions and he definitely does not like getting into trouble. I think Ryan has already swatted him on the leg a couple of times.
He is also wearing 18 to 24 month clothing. It depends on the brand. He is slimming up too. Since he is crawling and moving around he is getting leaner. My baby boy is getting so big. Before I know it I'll be walking him to Kinder.
This past Friday was a holiday for everyone because of Fiesta. So Mom and I took Michael, Jared and Travis to go get their pictures taken. That was supposed to be my Christmas gift for Brian and Becky, but it seemed like everytime I got around to doing it somebody had a scratch on their face. Mason also got his picture taken, but that one is tricky. Now that he can crawl he doesn't want to sit still. He also had his serious face on. He looked at me like "Mom what is going on?" The boys did excellent though. Mom and I surprised them by taking them to the Witte Museum in San Antonio to see the Dinosaur exhibit. It was really neat because the Dinos moved and roared. I was concerned that Mason would freak out, but I guess he is still young enough to not know what to be afraid of.
So here are few pictures of everyone. I don't have rights to them that is why they are so small.

All my boys are so handsome.
We had a great adventure on Friday. Mason was exhausted by the end of the day, but he did so well. Now I can start planning other things similar to do, now that I know he can do it.
So somewhere in all of this I guess I should let y'all in on what Ryan and I have been up to. Ryan has been working all the time. Too much to be exact. Work is being hard on him, but apart of me thinks he secretly likes it. But we all have to work to pay the bills and do the things that we want to do. Ryan also put the pool up a few weeks ago and it looks great. We've both been in it once and not for long. The water has been a little cool, but it's been great while we were in it. We planted all of our window baskets and a few plants. We're still working a lot in the yard; the backyard needs it especially.
I'm still working the evenings, twice a week at both offices. I still enjoy it, though it has its moments, but every job does. I'm starting to like going to the medical office, which can get crazy. A lot of it has to do with it being a lot closer. The drive is so much easier.
So I feel much better now that I've posted something. I could probably post so much more, but I'll leave that for the next posting.
