One Year Ago (June 19th, 2009)
June 19th, 2010
Mason's birthday was bittersweet. I was happy that we made it a year, but a little sad that he is now longer a baby boy, but a toddler. Geez, that is hard to believe. With the toddler-hood comes the temper tantrums and boy is he good at those. He has the arching of the back and screaming down.
I'm glad to say the he is 100% healthy. He has gone a year without being on any antibiotics and serious illness. He had a fever for about 24 hours, but other than that we have a healthy boy. He isn't walking yet, which is fine with Mom. He is however crawling all over the place and pulling up.

We had his 1st Birthday Party at his Opa and Oma's house. Everyone had a good-time and stayed late. The Birthday boy however was done at 8, so he went home with Great Grandma and went to bed. We didn't have too big of a party just immediate family and a few friends, which was nice. We still had about 25-30 people at the party, so in a way it kinda did get a little big, but it's his 1st B-day. And he made out like a 'fat rat'. I'll have to take a picture of his room to show y'all how many toys this boy has.

Happy Birthday Mason!
He is talking a lot more. He now says "Dadda", "Momma", "Opa" and we are working on Oma. He still only has two teeth, but as of this week we are working on some others I think. At least that is what I'm blaming the fussiness on. He still loves watching his Baby Einstein videos. That is some of the best money we ever spent. It definitely gives me time in the morning to get things done. I find it funny that he won't watch cartoons, but he'll sit and watch the videos. Every time he sees the Baby Einstein caterpillar he gets excited. Too cute.
Happy Birthday Mason! We love you!!

Love the decorations! You got some great photos too! Cant believe he is already a year!
