Mason's first 7 Months

I'm going to try to make this short and sweet.  Here is Mason's story.

This is the before picture.  I didn't realize how big I was until seeing this picture.  I was definately ready to have the baby by then (we didn't want to know the sex), but now I miss being pregnant.

I was induced June 19th, 2009 at 7a.m and had Mason at 1:11p.m. in Room #1 the same day.  I have to say I was blessed because I didn't have any problems and everything went smoothly.  As soon has Mason was born the Dr. stuffed Mason in Daddy's shirt to keep him warm.  That was such a special moment for Ryan.

Mason's Baby Dedication.
Dear Lord, You have given us this gift of life in Mason.  I give this child back to You.  As long as my child lives, he is given back to You.  I thank You for my child.  I praise Your for my child.  I dedicate myself to be a good parent, and a Christian example.
I will raise my child in the nurture and admonition of You, by leading him into a knowledge of Your Scriptures, that the Holy Spirit will one day bring Mason to the knowledge of salvation, and by teaching him a reverence for You and Jesus Christ, that he will have a willing and yielded heart.
Dear Father, I promise to raise my child with my spouse according to Your Scriptures.  We will strive to be parents that are pleasing to You.  We will need Your help.  We ask for Your help.  We thank You for Your help.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We will be 8 Months in a couple of weeks.  Time sure does fly by.  As of now we are starting to get up on all fours and rock as well as scooting all over the floor.  It will only be a matter of time before he starts to crawl.  Daddy is looking forward to it but Mommy is not.  For Mom it means constatnly cleaning and disinfecting the floors, baby proofing the house and constantly keeping an eye out for him.  I like him stationary ;)

  1. Cute! I love that you took a picture in the same place every month. I also liked the month by month photo comparison- its fun to see the progression as he has grown!
