I had to throw this in here somehow, it was too funny. It was a morning nap and the routine is I put him in his bed and say it is time to go 'nigh nigh' and that is about it. I'll then come in about 20 min. later to make sure he is covered. He usually sleeps on his stomach, but on this peticular day he decides he wanted to 'stretch' out ;)
This week Ryan finally took me to see New Moon. I've been wanting to see it for months, but when you have a baby it takes a lot of planning to just go out. I believe there were only four of us in the theater, which is nice. I would definitely go see it again. I'm re-reading the series and it's just as exciting and thrilling as the first time. There is just something about the books that is so intriguing.
Mason is going to be 8 months old this week. It seems like I had him just a month ago. He is now sitting up by himself, still a little wobbly, but we surround him with pillows. He is also on the verge of crawling. He has been up on all fours rocking for some time now, but he is finally getting to where he can move his knees and hands, he just hasn't coordinated it all out just yet.
Ryan surprised me on Valentines Day with flowers, gift cards to Ruth Chris Steakhouse and a gift from VS. I on the other hand forgot about Valentines Day...oops. I did cook dinner for him that night and that in itself is a surprise! I'm never home in the evenings to cook anymore. The three of us sat down for a nice candle-lit dinner, Cooper even joined us.
Mason's First Valentines Day Rose
Cooper wanted to be apart of the fun too.
This week has started out much better:) I'm hoping that yours does as well.
